Updated 20th April 2020
In these uncertain times, we understand that coronavirus is a concern for all our customers.
Socket Centre is currently operating business as usual, and wanted to personally assure you that we are doing everything possible to ensure that this remains to be the case as long as possible by working closely with our stock suppliers, couriers and delivery drivers.
Order Dispatch Times
In order for us to continue to operate in a manner that observes social distancing and is safe for our warehouse staff, we are currently operating on a skeleton crew until it is safe to return to normal operations. This means that any orders placed can take longer than usual to leave us. Many of our suppliers are in the same boat, meaning our orders are taking longer to get to us which has a knock on effect.
Our couriers – Royal Mail and DPD, have their own contingency plans and policies in place to ensure that their services can continue in manner that is safe for both their staff and those receiving the parcels.
Please note that due to staff shortages and the extra load on the network at the current time, Royal Mail parcels may take longer than usual to reach you once they have left us. Please allow a minimum of 7 working days for a parcel with Royal Mail to reach you.
We are in daily contact with our suppliers, many of whom already have their own contingency plans and policies in place to ensure business continuity for as long as possible. Should any supply chain issues arise, we will update this page and inform any affected customers as soon as possible.
Our sales team are working as normal and are available by phone, email or through the form on our Contact Us page.
We will continue to monitor the developing situation and will update this page accordingly.
We would like to thank you for the continued support of our business, and would like to wish you and your families the best of health.
